World Environment Day 2026 Celebration by EAction
EAction successfully observed World Environment Day 2026 on 5th June through a community tree plantation programme aimed at promoting environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable practices. Volunteers, children, and local residents actively participated in planting saplings and spreading the message of environmental conservation. As a continuation of the celebration, a Drawing Competition was organized on 7th June, where children creatively expressed their thoughts on themes such as “Trees are Our Friends” and “Plastic Pollution.” The participants showcased remarkable creativity and concern for nature through their artwork. To encourage and appreciate their efforts, all participants were awarded Certificates of Participation, while outstanding performers received prizes. The events successfully inspired children and community members to become responsible stewards of the environment and contribute towards a greener future.
